Potential Impacts of The Quarrying Industry on The Coasta Environment and Marine Resources

Abstract

Coastal quarrying is one of the alternatives of getting mineral aggregates needed in the building industry. However, the quarrying process produces fine materials as by products. These fines are not friendly to the coastal and marine environment. The remedy to this problem is suggested.
